MGA 2 Man Match Play (Pick your own partner)

Saturday, March 1st & Sunday, March 2nd

8:30am Shotgun Start

**Lantana Cup and Denton County Shootout Qualifier**

Entry Fee: 

$100 per player

** Includes Breakfast tacos prior to event, lunch and keg following play as well as the event prize pool**

Format: 

2 Man Quota using Stableford Scoring System - Both balls count for team score. 32 teams move on to bracket elimination (16 from top half and 16 from bottom half). Teams advancing to the match play bracket will play their first match on Sunday, March 2nd.  

Full Event Schedule:

· Round 1 (Qualifier) – March 1st

· Round 2 – March 2nd (Tee Times are blocked from 12:30pm - 2:23pm)

· Round 3 – On or before March 30th

· Round 4 – On or before April 20th

· Round 5 – On or before May 18th

· Round 6 – On or before June 15th

Partner Stroke Differential: 

There is a 10 stroke limit between partners on playing handicaps.

Tees and Handicapping: 

For this event and ALL 2025  MGA events, players will play from the tees in which 70% (14) of your last 20 rounds at Lantana are recorded. This includes all options on the Lantana score card (Black, Lantana Tees, Blue, Members and White). Tees will be automatically assigned based on this criteria. Players without 20 posted rounds at Lantana will default to the Blue tees.

Cash Skins Game: 

Optional $20 cash skins game available. Cash will be collected in the pro shop prior to beginning play.

Cancelation Policy: 

Any cancelations after 12:00pm Tuesday, February 25th will incur the full tournament entry fee.

Year Round Skins Game: 

MGA members may enter the year round skins game at any point during the year! Entry fee is $50. For 2025, all participants will be entered into UnknownGolf where they will be able to view the leaderboard throughout the season. There will be THREE flights with payouts for both gross and net winners. Payouts will be in cash in January of 2026.
